Debbie is a Chartered Certified Accountant, a finance director and business owner who is

highly experienced to help and advise you on your business and personal accountancy
and tax affairs.

 

She started her accountancy career over 30 years ago. Even before that, whilst she was still at school she worked part-time in her parents' business assisting with sales invoicing, marketing, etc. After leaving school, she studied a hotel management diploma. A big part of this diploma was business and finance, which turned out to be one of Debbie's strengths hence her decision to pursue a career in accountancy. 
 

As well as working in several different accountancy firms, Debbie spent 19 years working at Bird Luckin Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors, a well respected independent Essex based firm, where she completed her training and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997. She continued to work at Bird Luckin looking after a portfolio of business and personal tax clients. The clients she worked with were many and varied but included in particular those in the audio, children's nursery, construction, farming, leisure, insurance, IT, importing, manufacturing, property, engineering, professional services, retail, security services, transport, distribution, veterinary and education sectors.
